Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was unexpectedly pleasant. The room was spacious but cluttered with extra single and portable beds that were unnecessary. Despite this, it offered a reasonable amount of space and ultimate comfort, making it a quiet retreat even though my room was at the front. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing valuable recommendations for the best venues and experiences in the area.
The hotel offers a spacious room with a unique layout, featuring a double and a single bed with a nice en suite on the lower level and a cozy lounge area with a fantastic view upstairs. While the windows need improvements to reduce street noise, the family faced challenges with a road-facing room disturbing their sleep.
The hotel is really in need of some improvements, especially with the noise from the street creeping into the rooms. Though I was exhausted, the convenience of being near Princes Street and the Airport Tram was a plus. However, the overall decor felt outdated, consisting of a small bed and dark, depressing curtains, not quite justifying the price paid.
The hotel rooms were very spacious, ideal for a family with a double bed and two singles, but might feel too large and 'dormitory-like' for a couple. The view from the big window was lovely, though our room faced the back, which could be due to chance.
The hotel offers fine rooms with helpful staff, but they need to reconsider their breakfast arrangements with the adjacent cafe. While a bit dark, the room was spacious enough, especially for a quick stay in the city. Keep in mind that opening windows may bring in street noise and heat during warmer days.
Our stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms were perfect for our group of 3, overlooking Frederick St, and had everything we needed, although there was some wallpaper ripped off the wall, which was the only downside. The hotel's location is great for sightseeing and entertainment, and the friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. Dining options were diverse, with a delicious breakfast menu available. However, it was not clear that dining was in a restaurant outside the hotel. Overall, a fantastic experience.
The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms are above average in size with a unique layout, but some noise issues and an uninterested receptionist. The service is friendly and accommodating, although some areas could be improved. The location is convenient and walkable from public transport, despite noisy surroundings. Dining options are available nearby, but some aspects may not meet expectations.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were a bit uncomfortable as they were too hot, and I couldn't keep the window open due to the loud noise from outside. On the bright side, the staff was welcoming and helpful. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to all the main attractions in Edinburgh, but the dining options were not the best.
Staying at the hotel was an excellent experience overall. The location was superb, right in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town, making it convenient for exploring the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean, but some had poor views. The service was attentive, though there was a small hiccup when requesting an ironing table. Dining options were satisfactory, with a good choice of nearby restaurants.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, right in the heart of New Town, making it convenient to explore the city. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and spacious, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing. The service was top-notch, with friendly and knowledgeable staff, although I did have a slight issue with one member being impolite. The dining options nearby were good, but not having a buffet breakfast on-site could be a downside for some. Overall, a wonderful stay with great value for the money.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was terrific, with easy access to the center of the city and its surroundings, and I could even park right outside the front door. The room, while comfortable, was a bit noisy due to the heating system. The service was fair, although not very focused on customer interactions.
